My name is Gregory Venters.

For as long as I can remember, understanding has mattered to me more than certainty, comfort, or convention.

As a child, that meant building robots.

Later it became music, machines, photography, design, business, evolution, consciousness, God, and countless other investigations.

From the outside they appear unrelated.

To me, they never were.

Each was another way of approaching the same landscape.

I've spent my life learning whatever the next question demanded.

Not to collect knowledge.

To see more clearly.

I've been fortunate enough to experience success.

I've also watched almost everything I'd built disappear.

Neither changed the investigation.

The questions remained.

Over time I realised I wasn't exploring different subjects.

I was exploring life itself from different directions.

Bellkeeper is where many of those paths finally began to converge.

This website is a record of that exploration.
